Hedda Droege is surrounded by a competent team of experts assisting and advising her in all aspects of breeding, raising, training and sports. As a team, they are responsible for the outstanding success in breeding and sports at Gut Dalmer. Their joint vision of breeding dressage horses for international competition was borne from many years of working hand in hand in a spirit of trust and respect.
Johannes Augustin served his apprenticeship as professional riding master, focused on breeding and raising, with Josef Kathmann in Haustette. He then continued his studies with riding master Jean Bemelmans in Krefeld where he passed his exam as Master of Equine Management and where he continued to work until his final exam. He changed to the Kasselmann Stable in Hagen a.T.W. in 1990, learning the art of work in-hand with the legendary instructor Franz Kukuk.
For many years, Heinrich Ramsbrock has been „senior advisor“ for breeding and raising with the Droege-family. He supports Hedda Droege with the work of her young horses. As an internationally approved expert with more than 40 years extensive professional experience in raising stallions and in the general horse business, he and his team provide assistance with the training of scopey and talented young horses for mare performance tests and stallion gradings.
His opinion in the selection process of the individual breeding years is always highly appreciated.
Dr. Johann Schulze completed his veterinary studies in Hanover in 2002. He then worked on his doctoral thesis at the Celle National State Stud. In 2008, he obtained his qualification as specialized vet for horses after having worked for almost four years with the Horse Clinic in Parsdorf near Munich. He also passed the Australian state examination and worked with two horse clinics in Australia for three years. During this time, he was approved and appointed Australian FEI vet for dressage, show jumping and eventing. Dr. Schulze has been working in Soest since May 2012. The authorization for advanced studies in specialised vet medicine for horses followed in the same year. In 2013, he took over the medical practice on Hellweg with Knut Certa.
Rainer Kuchler has been the good-hearted soul of Gut Dalmer for several years and is managing the broodmare band together with his team. He is responsible for the welfare of our horses, starting from the pasture maintenance, the daily feeding with high-quality food from our own lasting agriculture and the care of our broodmares up to the foaling-period in spring. He cares the foals during their first six months and teaches them how to deal with the humans.
