Hedda Droege

Former Competition Horses

Hedda Droege started internationally in the small tour with the stallion Ehrenwort. Her entry into the Grand Prix is due to the Westphalian mares Fifth Avenue and Laura Lux, among others. The two mares are now enjoying their retirement as brood mares and have had their first foals in 2015. Hedda Droege and her team hope to see the offspring again soon on the big show grounds.

The Westphalian mare Donatella is bred by the stud farm and together with Hedda Droege she was successful up to Grand Prix level. She too is now enjoying her retirement as a broodmare at Gut Dalmer.

Federle

  • 2014
  • Hanoverian
  • Dark Brown
  • rd. 168 cm

Federle is a half-sister to the Hanoverian premium stallion Million from our breed. Her sire Fürstenball is successful in sport up to advanced level and was number one in the FN breeding value estimation in 2015. In 2017 Fürstenball became Danish Elite Stallion in Herning/DEN and in 2018 "Stallion of the year". Federle passed her own mare performance test with scores in the range of eight and was awarded the Hanoverian Premium Candidate at the mare show in Badbergen.

With three very good basic gaits, whereby the walk is particularly outstanding, and her great eagerness to work, she is developing into a great riding horse for high demands. Federle is always highly motivated and learns new tasks very quickly. The beautiful, dark brown mare is not only a reliable partner under saddle, but also gentle, considerate and very cuddly in handling. Federle is also a lot of fun, the young mare simply does everything: Whether dressage training in the indoor arena, trail rides, our big pond or a brisk gallop around the racetrack, Federle is ready for action.

In her first show season, she has already been able to achieve top placings in dressage horse tests classes A and L and is currently being trained by Hedda Droege.

Sarafina

  • 2015
  • Hanoverian
  • Black
  • rd. 172 cm

The strong type mare Sarafina is a successful mixture of her sire, the Oldenburg trademark stallion San Amour, and her dam Coconut Kiss, a state premium mare by Christ, which was bred at Gut Dalmer. She was awarded the Hanoverian Premium Certificate and passed a very good mare performance test with the dressage final score of 8.40 and the guest rider score of 9.0. This beautiful mare with a strong character is already highly committed under the saddle with dynamic, light-footed movements. Her active hind leg and her great elasticity are conspicuous.

Her first show starts she completed with victories and placings in tests for young riding horses, including the vice championship title in the Hanoverian Riding Horse Championships for 3-year old mares and geldings. The mare was nominated by the Hanoverian Verband for the Bundeschampionat in Warendorf. At her first show starts in riding horse tests and dressage horse tests class A, she directly placed first and in second place.

Sarafina: The diva among our young horses looks forward to a promising future in dressage and is currently being carefully prepared for the upcoming tasks by Stefanie Wolf.

Estella

  • 2014
  • Westphalian
  • Chestnut
  • rd. 168 cm

Estella (Escolar x Florestan I) is a very special horse: She knows how to convince the people around her with her unique charm and her sovereign appearance. She is sensitive, cuddly and gentle with people. A horse you can absolutely rely on in every situation. The mare stands in modern mare type, has excellent movements and impresses with high rideability values. The daughter of Escolar, who is successfully shown in Grand Prix by Hubertus Schmitz, has a maximum of balance and willingness to assemble. She already shows good approaches in the piaffe & passage work.

She descends from our broodmare Franziska and is the half-sister of Ernesto (by Ehrenwort, born 2009), who is also bred at Gut Dalmer and is now successful at Grand Prix level. Another half-sister is the Westphalian Champion Mare 2016 Ballerina (by Belarus, born 2013). Currently Estella is carefully being prepared for a career in dressage sport. She participated in the Westphalian Elite Mare Show and completed her mare performance test with a dressage final score of 8.40.

Delante

  • 2014
  • Hanoverian
  • Black
  • rd. 172 cm

The Hanoverian mare Delante is a daughter of the premium stallion Danciano. The stallion, who is successful in sport, impresses with his large frame and elegant conformation - characteristics that he has passed on to his daughter. Delante is the spitting image of her sire and impresses with her rideability and special charisma. She is eager for knowledge and learns new lessons very quickly. She is always motivated under the rider and very sensitive to the aids. The large-framed mare is a real reliable horse: Once learned, it can always be recalled safely.

At the mare show in Badbergen, Delante was awarded as a Hanoverian Premium candidate. She passed her mare performance test with a dressage score of 8.10, convincing in all three basic gaits and rideability. She has already been shown victoriously up to elementary (L) level dressage tests for young horses and is currently being developed further for medium (M) level dressage tests for young horses. We are already very excited about the development of this special mare.

Don Weltino

  • 2015
  • Westphalian
  • Dark Brown
  • rd. 169 cm

Don Weltino (Dante Weltino x Donnerhall) is a son out of Donna del Mondo, one of the foundation mares of Gut Dalmer. His half-sister Florina (Fürst Romancier x Donnerhall) was fourth at the World Championships for 5-year-old dressage horses and is now owned by Fiona Bigwood and Anders Dahl in Great Britain.

The elegant gelding impresses with his boyish charm and great rideability. Under the saddle he shows himself very docile and already very concentrated on his rider. You can see that he always wants to please his people and is a convinced team player.

The large-framed gelding has potential in all three gaits and shows an elastic movement mechanism. He has a tremendous canter, a large walk and a very promising trot. He is currently being given plenty of time to grow into his new tasks and is now in further training with Julia Werning, who is preparing him for his first show season. A horse in which we see a lot of potential and which will later become an easy to ride and dynamic sparring partner in the big arena.

Sixth Avenue

  • 2015
  • Westphalian
  • Black
  • rd. 167 cm

Sixth Avenue (nicknamed "Simba") is a very special horse: He is the only foal of my top mare Fifth Avenue. The Sezuan son has such an incredible charisma and elegance that he cannot deny his parents. With his dam Fifth Avenue I was victorious in Grand Prix and Grand Prix Special. His sire Sezuan is a three-time World Champion of young dressage horses and meanwhile victorious in advanced level.

Simba is a young horse that gives us pleasure every day and arouses great expectations. He already offers a high degree of willingness to assemble, especially in trot. In walk and canter he has an enormous amount of frame. A special strength is his perceptiveness when it comes to learning new lessons. A horse that I have to slow down a bit every now and then because he always wants to do everything even better than the rider asks. Simba is now being carefully prepared for his first tournament starts by myself.

Desire

  • 2016
  • Westphalian
  • Brown
  • ca. 167 cm

The 4-year-old Westphalian Desire is by our stamp stallion De Kooning out of a Florestan I dam. She was bred by Heinrich Ramsbrock. She passed her mare performance test in 2019 with a final score of 8.4 with a strong emphasis on dressage. She qualified for the Westphalian Elite Mare Show and was awarded the State Premium.

After the mare performance tests, Desire initially spent the rest of the year in the large herd of mares in the pasture. Since the beginning of 2020, the mare has been trained according to her age and gently prepared for her sporting career.

Desire is already convincing with three very good basic gaits and a strikingly beautiful shoulder freedom. Under saddle she is willing to perform and committed to please her rider. I have high hopes for the development of this talented and strong type mare.

Follini

  • 2016
  • Westphalian
  • Brown
  • ca. 170 cm

I have high hopes for our Ferro x De Kooning mare Follini. She passed her mare performance test as a three-year-old with a dressage final score of 8.3 and scored points with three very well-balanced basic gaits: She has a promising hind leg in trot with a lot of drive, an uphill canter and a very nice striding walk.

Since she was still in development as a three-year old, we gave her another time out in the pasture directly after the mare performance test, so that she had time to enjoy the rest of the summer until the beginning of winter and to grow out in peace. Starting in early 2020, she is now being trained in an age-appropriate manner and gently prepared for her first show appearances. Follini is very fond of people and has a very good grasp of the situation. Under the saddle she already gives the feeling that she is taking care of her rider in every situation - her reactions are always well-considered. She is an absolutely reliable horse that I enjoy more and more every day and I feel grateful to be able to work with her!
